Screening of short videos from a community video workshop im Malta with public discussion
Since March 2018 DIYALOG in cooperation with the Sustainable Design Collective Malta are implementing a community video workshop for third country nationals and local communities. This workshop is as well part of the Mahalla festival and we will screen a selection of short movies created within the workshop in the week Nov 17 – Nov 25 at MUZA museum. These video workshop series are a Connecting for Good Project by Vodafon Malta Foundation supported also by Allianz Kulturstiftung for Europe. The work shop series took place at the Sudanese Migrant Community Center, the Gzira local council and the volunteer center in Valletta since March 2018.
The multicultural video-workshop is conducted by the curators of the Festival, Sabine Küper-Büsch and Thomas Büsch.

After the Screening will be a performance by Milenko Lakić
Milenko Lazic was born in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1979. He is a Swiss citizen since 1998, a Bosnian citizen since 2006 and soon also to become a Croatian citizen. You can not have too many passports !!!
For Mahalla festival he will present a performance called “Silent Transformace Two”, a disassemblage to all the transformations that our society forces us to make.
