In the name of the Mahalla Festival and the Turkish based association DIYALOG we thank all participants and visitors for their interest into this years Mahalla Festival – Generating new Narratives – taking place in Malta. We want to thank also the Mahalla team Sonja, Giacomo and Geoffrey and our partners – Sustainable Design Colective, MUŻA, Heritage Malta, African Media Association Malta, Valletta Contemporary, Studio 87, S. Patricks Football Club Zabbar, the Sudanese Migrant Association and Utopian Nights.

The Mahalla Festival took place at Fortress Builders, MUZA, a Palazzo in Zabbar, Studio 87, Valletta Contemporary and S. Patricks Football Club NOV 17 – DEC 3. The events of the festival had more than 1.000 visits and we reached in one month on Facebook more than 45.000 people with over 2.000 responses. The Mahalla Web Site had more than 32.000 visits in November.-

We are also very thankful about the support of the Mahalla Festival by the German Embassy in Valletta, the Austrian Honorary Consulate General in Valletta, the Art Council Malta, Frank Salt Real Estate, the Austrian Chancellor, SAHA Istanbul, Vodafone Malta Foundation, Allianz Kulturstiftung, Canon and the Community of Örebro,
