The Austrian artist Doris Schamp is also known by her alias, La Razzia. Though her iconic sculptures, cartoons, and various other pieces often seem innocent and funny, they also just as often carry critical social messages inspired by the human race, one of the main influences of Schamp’s work. The works shown by Doris Schamp at the Mahalla Festival are parts of an installation that was displayed in LA earlier this year. It shows life size homeless characters and objects of a homeless encampment. Several objects and clothing Items carry motives from her label La Razzia.
