Nazli Mayuk is an Istanbul based activist, who embraces a queer feminist approach. She uses various forms of art and media as tools for activism. Her work focuses on trans* identities, non-violence and displacement. In 2015 she took part in the emergence of the Film-Platform “Searching Traces”. Together with international participants she worked on the theme of displacement in various film-productions. Since 2016, she has been a member of the International commission of the UEEH (Euromediterranean Universities of Homosexualities). The UEHH is a two-week-long event, where LBGTI+ communities from many countries collaborate organizing workshops, discussions and collective life in the South of France.
