We are pleased to invite you to the opening ceremony of Beyond What Drifts Us Apart in the frame of the Mahalla Festival at the Dwejra Tower in Gozo on July 20th at 4 pm.

The 6 participating Artists – Keit Bonnici (MT), Martinha Maia (PT), Jamie Barbara (MT), Justyna Olszewska (PL), Florinda Camilleri (MT), Isaac Warrington (MT) – will present their new art works, performances and workshops in and around the area of the old watch tower.

With every week of research, the artists together with the curator Elyse Tonna and the team of Beyond What Drifts Us Apart discovered more about the intricate and interwoven layers of facts and speculations about Dwejra. They looked closer at what lies at the surface, how human actions have impeded on the landscape and how it changes.
