Glitter Is Joy, Glitter Sparkles
Based on her work with glitter, Katharina Swoboda was offering on Saturday, November 23 a photography workshop.
Sparkling moments while throwing glitter were captured photographically and staged together with the participants at the school. At the end of the workshop, the resulting images were printed out on photo paper and taken home.
“My video work is about distilling complex, three-dimensional spaces of our environment into two-dimensional screen representations. This transformation is not only physical, but ideally also a means of questioning existing frames of perception.”
