Screening: "Searching Traces"
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Istanbul intercultural association diyalog has been operating an international platform for experimental video production on Zoom with participants from Canada, Eritrea, Germany, Iraq, Malta, Syria, the Netherlands and Turkey in cooperation with the Syrian-Canadian filmmaker Kutaiba Hajirah. The topics of the short films made with cell phones are migration, mobility, exile and life in times of pandemic.
One of the highlights of the screening during the festival was the film "Taxi Malta", a short film about a Maltese taxi driver from Eritrea, who chats with his customers about his trip to Malta, his exile and the desire for mobility.
The movie Taxi Malta was created by Major Sium and Martina Camilleri (Malta) in cooperation with Sabine Küper-Büsch and Thomas Büsch with a support by Spazju Kreattiv and Valletta Design Cluster Malta.

Film Gösterimi: “İzleri Aramak”
Pandeminin başlangıcından bu yana, İstanbul merkezli kültürlerarası bir dernek olan Diyalog, Suriyeli/Kanadalı film yapımcısı Kutaiba Hajirah ile işbirliği içinde, Kanada, Eritre, Almanya, Irak, Malta, Suriye, Hollanda, ve Türkiye’den katılımcılarla Zoom üzerinde deneysel video prodüksiyonu üzerine uluslararası bir platform yürütmektedir. Cep telefonları ile oluşturulan bu kısa filmlerin konuları göç, hareketlilik, sürgün ve pandemi günlerinde yaşam gibi alanları kapsamaktadır.
Festival süresince yapılacak gösterimin öne çıkan gösterimlerinden biri de, Malta’da taksi şoförlüğü yapan bir Eritreli göçmenin Malta'ya yaptığı yolculuğu, sürgünü ve hareketlilik arzusu hakkında müşterileriyle sohbet etmesini konu alan bir kısa film olan “Taxi Malta” olacak.
