#anarchyzen is a Streetartist living and working in Turkey.

#anarchyzen produced two works around the Killing of George Floyd by Police Forces and the uprisings around it in solidarity with the movement “Black Lives Matter”.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee…

At the end of the Video a reference to the Gezi Protests in Turkey in 2013 appears: A Photo from Ali Ismail Korkmaz.

The activist was beaten to death after he joined the solidarity protests in Eskişehir in 2013.  The portrait of him appears side by side to a photo of George Floyd.

During the Gezi protests in Turkey parts of the police forces operated with to heavy loads of teargas on demonstrators. Ali Ismail Korkmaz was a student of Arabic descent.

He was beaten heavily and died five weeks later in the hospital.
