On Sep 24 MOBILISTAN – the first mobile state of the world – arrived in Istanbul at Otonom Art Events İstanbul in Maslak. Friday evening at 7 pm the Mahalla Festival welcomed MOBILISTAN in Istanbul. On the trip from Berlin to Istanbul the art project MOBILISTAN by Manaf Halbouni and Chrsitian Manss passed by in Prague, Vienna, Zagreb and Sofia.

Mobilistan has its own flag, national anthem and passport. And this state only has four permanent citizens. Visitors applied for a Visa and entered the mobile state through its doors and had a talk with the president of MOBILISTAN, Manaf Halbouni.

On Sep 25 MOBILISTAN crossed the continents and the Mahalla Festival welcomed MOBILISTAN at the Kadiköy Meydan on the Anatolian site of Istanbul. Here again visitors applied for a visa.
